Lytham St Annes Rambling ClubThe club was formed in 1954 and has continued to flourish with a membership of over 100. We are a friendly club of keen walkers and give a warm welcome to new members.We have two coach rambles a month on the first and third Sundays. The current cost of rambles for 2004 is £6. Walks are led by experienced members. B party walks are usually about 12 miles with up to 3000 ft of climbing, depending on terrain. C party walks are about 8-10 miles but over lower terrain. Members also walk their own choice of route. There is no compulsion to walk with a party, providing we know your intended route in advance. We travel by coach to the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Derbyshire, occasionally North Wales and also to other areas in the North West. En route, we hope to enjoy a meal and pub stop, enabling members to socialise. The club programme also includes weekends away along with a chosen week staying in a hotel in a good walking area.
